Paintball Guns - Choosing The Right Accessories

If you have some time under your belt playing in the paintball guns dungeon and you have your own paintball gun it might be time to start upgrading your weapon to better serve your needs on the game field. Since there are countless options available, you will have the opportunity to customize your gun how you see fit.

First think about what kind of player you are. Determine if you are better in short range or long range combat. How accurate is your shot with a paintball gun? Do you like to unload on people or have short controlled bursts?

These are thing that must be thought about when attempting to upgrade your paintball gun. Since there are scopes, extra paintball containers, different types of O2 tanks and firing mechanisms you need to take all this into consideration.

For example, if you are someone that likes to stay at long distances and you have a good shot than a scope in definitely something to think about. From apertures to sniper scopes, you will be able to find one that will best suit you. These are handy for anyone that enjoys keeping their distance and picking off people from across the field. This would also mean you might want more pressure in your firing mechanism to cover more feet per second with your paintballs.

You should always have an array of camouflage for your paintball markers as well because when the field changes so does the need to blend in. This can be crucial because if your body is covered in camouflage and your gun isn’t it makes the whole thing kind of a mute point if they can still see your gun while you are prone or crouched down.

If you use a gun that is fully-automatic then you will most certainly want to find a larger canister to hold your paintballs in because you are firing more of them in a shorter time and they go real fast if you are not prepared. This would constitute a shorter range of playing tactics and if you are playing a short range game the last thing you want to do is run out of ammo.

Finding an appropriate barrel for your paintball gun is also something that will have to be thought about. While they do not offer any more accuracy they are great for controlling noise and air tank pressure. This will give you a quieter shot and conserve your gas tank to ensure more shots can be fired from a single tank. Some people will have as much as a 40” custom barrel on the end of their gun for controlled, quiet shooting.

Every little thing will need to be thought about before you drop any money on a customization of your paintball gun. You might see someone else that has an accessory you like or think would be an improvement to your game. If this is the case then ask the person and find out what it does. What attributes does it touch on and how do you use it to improve your game?
